10 'Hot' Goodies To Put You On Santa's Naughty List

 If you haven't filled up your Christmas jars yet, then, hold on to your reindeers! In these yummy Santa-approved recipes, just mix three (Yes, I mean THREE!)  ingredients, DON'T BAKE, & enjoy with your loved ones. Save up on your cash, time, & energy all the way!


1. Candy Cane Cloud Dessert

Fluffy pink clouds that melts in your mouth? Hell, yeah! Get crazy making this whipped cream dessert with crushed candy canes on top.

Prep Time: 15 mins

Serving: 4-5 glasses

- Beat 1 cup of whipping cream2 tbsp of sugar in a bowl. 

- Add in 1/3 cup of ground candy canes

- Pour into 4-5 fancy glasses.

- Refrigerate for 1 hour to let the flavours meld & enjoy.

2. Tiger Butter Fudge

Add a wild twist to the holidays with this creamy, tiger-like peanut-butter chocolate fudge. It has the pretty shape of a little candy but rich & smooth as a fudge. Goody Tip: Switch to almond butter for a kick.

Disclaimer: No tigers were harmed in the making of this candy (lol). 

Prep Time: 8 mins

Serving: 24 pcs

- Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with parchment paper or foil.

- Melt & stir 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips for 1 min. in a small bowl. Set aside.

- Melt & stir 300g of vanilla chips in a medium-sized bowl for 1 min. 30 sec..

- Add 1/2 cup of peanut butter into the melted vanilla & stir until well-combined.

- Pour the vanilla-peanut butter mixture onto prepared pan. 

- Add the chocolate mixture on top in lines. Use a knife to make a swirl pattern as you like.

- Chill in the fridge & cut into equal pieces when ready.

3. Shortcut Lime Cheesecake

You can tell by it's name, this is the fast version of silky, smooth cheesecakes. Goody Tip: Garnish with anything in your fridge- fresh strawberries, halved lime, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, or whipped cream. 

Prep Time: 6 mins

Serving: 1 pc

- Smash 1 graham cracker to crumbs & press into a muffin cup. 

- Mix 1 cup of cream cheese with juice from 1 whole lime.

- Spoon into the muffin cup & let it refrigerate until solid.

4. Black Forest Icebox Cake

One whole cake in just minutes?! It's even cheaper & tastier than what you'll find in your local bakery. Goody tip: If you add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder to the whipped cream, you'll get a Choco Black Forest Cake. 

Prep Time: 15 mins

Serving: 12 slices

- Beat 2 cups of frozen whipped cream in a bowl until you see stiff peaks. 

- Arrange 300g of chocolate graham crackers in 1 layer on a pan, overlapping each other.

- Layer with 1/3 of the beaten whipped cream. 

- Layer again with 1/3 of 2 cups of cherry pie filling.

- Repeat layers two more times, with a total of 3 layers.

- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight. Garnish with extra whipped cream if you like.

5. Strawberry Mousse

Ok, what about your diet plans? If you're worried with all the sugar so far, then, pack on some juicy berries like in this special dessert. I mean, fruits in mousse are still fruits, right?                              

Prep Time: 10 mins

Serving: 4

- Blend 400g of sliced strawberries2 tbsp of honey for 2-3 mins or until pureed.

- Pour 1 & a half cup of heavy cream into a bowl. Mix until you see soft peaks.

- Gently fold the puree into the cream & let it combine well.

- Divide into small containers & refrigerate for 30-60 mins.

6. Dark Choco Nutella Bars

Can't call it Christmas if there's no Nutella, right? This one's for those who scrape down to the last bit in the jar. Goody Tip: Allergic to nuts? Try raisins, dried cranberries, or granola instead.

Prep Time: 25 mins

Serving: 20 bars

- Roast 1/3 cup of peeled almonds for 15 mins until nicely browned. Chop finely.

- Melt 1 & two thirds cup of dark chocolate a bowl & stir gently until smooth. 

- Add 2/3 cup of Nutella & chopped nuts into the bowl. Mix well. 

- Pour mixture into a plastic wrap-lined pan. Sprinkle extra chopped nuts on top. 

- Chill in the fridge for a few hours. Remove from pan & cut into strips before serve.

7.  Oreo Cookie Balls

Here's an unbelievable, new way to enjoy your Oreos: just pop it in your mouth! The rich, white chocolate make them taste like fancy, store-bought truffles. Your guests will definitely be surprised!

Prep Time: 30 mins

Serving: 48 pcs

- Crush 36 Oreo cookies into crumbs. 

- Mix in 230g of cream cheese until blended.

- Shape into 1-inch balls on a waxed paper-lined tray. Freeze for 10 mins. 

- Dip balls into 120ml of melted, white baking chocolate.

- Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm. Serve.

8. Coconut Snowball Cookies

Do you wanna build a snowman? Have fun rolling these soft, doughy snowballs with refreshing coconut flavour. Goody Tip: Freeze the cookies in a ziplock bag or airtight container to last up to 6 months. 

Prep Time: 5 mins

Serving: 40 pcs

- Blend 4 cups of unsweetened coconut shreds for 1-2 mins. Don't overblend or you'll end up with coconut butter (lol). 

- Add 1/4 cup of sugar & 1/2 cup of coconut milk. Blend until it's sticky & thick.

- Pour the batter into a huge bowl. 

- With your clean, wet hands, form the batter into small balls on a tray. Press every ball into a cookie shape.

- Sprinkle with extra coconut or sugar. Refrigerate until they firm up a little.

9. Lemon Pudding

If you're in love with thick panna cottas, this fine treat will make your day. Serve it with fresh blackberries or your favourite fruit.

Prep Time: 15 mins

Serving: 4 cups

- Whisk 480ml of heavy cream130g of sugar in a saucepan. Add lemon zest & a pinch of salt. 

- Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, while whisking regularly.

- After 5 mins. when the mixture is a little thick, remove from heat.

- Add juice from 2 whole lemons & let it cool until a skin forms on top the mixture. 

- Strain the mixture with a sieve. 

- Pour into serving glasses. Refrigerate uncovered for 3 hours.

10. Peanut Butter Cookies

For a healthy treat, try these classic beauties, both salty & sweet in the same bite. Make them in a large batch & freeze. Now, you'll have a low-carb snack for your midnight cravings.

Prep Time: 10 mins

Serving: 20 cookies

- Blend 1 cup of rolled oats into flour. 

- Add 3/4 cup of pitted dates & blend for 30 secs more or until finely chopped. 

- Add 1/2 cup of naturally salted peanut butter & blend until it turns into a dough.

- Scoop 2 tbsp of the dough & make small mounds on a parchment-lined tray.

- Press with the back of a fork for the cross-hatch pattern on top the cookies. 

Optional: Dip in chocolate glaze & freeze for 10 mins. Dip again for extra shell. Refrigerate & enjoy.
