Idris Elba announced on Twitter that he has been tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) even he has not shown any symptoms of the virus.

His caption for that video goes:

"This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic."

The 2.08-minute-video has received 18.3m views. He explained in the video that Sabrina has not been tested but she is doing okay. The most important part is that he has not shown any symptoms. And that he decided to get tested because he was exposed to someone who was also tested positive. Once he found out that the person he got in touched with git tested positive, he began to quarantine himself for two weeks and got a test immediately.

He emphasized that this is serious and urged everyone to start applying social distancing and washing your hands. His concern was that there are infected people out there who aren't showing any symptoms and that could easily spread the virus.

He once again emphasized that this is a real-time to be real vigilant about washing your hands and keeping your distance. Transparency too is really important as he mentioned that he has informed his family and colleagues about this bad news. He then ended his video with "Stay positive and don't freak out", which is very important for everyone because freaking out will only worsen the situation.
