The Ministry of Health (MoH) posted on its Facebook page regarding the volunteering program for handling COVID-19 cases in MoH facilities.
MoH mentioned in the posting that the message of getting the volunteer service is also extended to private health and medical members, such as medical experts, medical officers, nurses, assistant medical officers, and people who want to help out the MoH in handling the COVID-19 outbreak.
Volunteers are needed to:
1. Run fever screening at public health facilities, as in health clinics, district health offices, KLIA and others;
2. Complete tasks in the hospital that involve handling:
(A) Non-COVID-19 patients in the ward and medical departments due to the congestion of COVID-19 patients;
(B) COVID-19 patients, ONLY for experienced experts/officers subject to current requirements.
