It was a nightmare when the passenger cage of a ferris wheel in Jerantut, Pahang suddenly came lose & overturned.
Even worse, there were children on the ride, causing their parents to panic. Watch the entire commotion here.
Staff members were desperately trying to hold onto the cages, with children inside of some. All of them could be heard screaming & crying in fear.
The equipment installed to the ferris wheel is made of scrap metal and has been in use since the 1990s.
The funfair is poorly maintained, with the equipment being old & rusty.
