Yes! Yes! We will MARRY Merry Me Ice Cream. Merry Me is the perfect candidate to take home to your parents because they are very traditional. By traditional we mean that they take traditional Malaysian flavours and turn them into ice-cream. 

They have flavours such as Kacang Tumbuk, Kaya Toast and even Tao Sar Piah!

3. Rollney Penang

This ice-cream shop not only provides you with ice-cream but also introduces you to a classical Hungarian pastry, kurtos kalacs. It is a hollow chimney-shaped pastry with caramelized sugar on the outside which makes it crunchy. 

The chimney is then filled with ice-cream and the combination of flavours and crunchiness is out of this world! While their specialty is definitely the kurtos kalacs, they have a wide array of ice-cream flavours to choose from too.

4. The Craftisan

This shop specializes in elegant hand-crafted ice cream. While they do have traditional flavours like chocolate and vanilla, they are known for their Asian inspired ice creams. 

  
The flavours that we recommend are their rum and raisin and for those who love the multiple variations of Chinese tea, you must try their Tie Kuan Yin gelato.

This café actually specializes in coffee, so, you can go there for some coffee and some gelato too. We definitely recommend getting the waffle topped with gelato cuz who does not like waffles??

Newly opened in Penang, CDLC is well-known for creating the prettiest jaw dropping Petit Gâteaux or for those who don’t speak French cute little mini-ice-cream cakes. 

One of the bestselling Petit Gâteaux, is called the Beauty and the Beast, which is a rose shaped cake, filled with various elements from sorbet to ice-cream, presented in a glass jar.
