It's a new chapter for former Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, as he takes on the role of a radio DJ at Hot FM after a brief hiatus from the political scene.
Recently, popular influencer Mek Yun had a laid-back chat with Khairy, affectionately known as KJ, in a relaxed segment of her show. In the video, Mek Yun posed questions from her followers to the politician.
During the interview, Khairy admitted that he no longer longs to return to active politics and is thoroughly enjoying his new gig as a radio DJ. When asked about his future outside of politics, the former UMNO Youth Chief expressed his interest in venturing into the world of acting.
"I've taken a little break from politics, and I must say, being a DJ is quite fun. I don't really miss being a politician," he revealed.
In the midst of the conversation, Khairy also said that he aspires to be an actor and asks Malaysians to suggest to him what kind of role should he take on.
Expanding further, he took a moment to share some advice for the younger generation, urging them to pursue their own dreams and to be true to themselves.
"Don't follow someone else's dreams or aspirations," he emphasized.
It's worth noting that on January 27th, Khairy was expelled from UMNO's Supreme Council due to disciplinary violations during the 15th General Election (GE-15).
Following his dismissal, Khairy became the subject of interest from several quarters, including the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim (TMJ), who hinted at the possibility of offering him the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT).
So, what kind of role do you think would be a good fit for KJ in the world of acting? Share your thoughts!
