TikTok influencer who goes by the nickname @srikandihaura has posted a rant on TikTok about an unfortunate incident she faced while shopping for groceries at Lotus's, one of the largest grocery chains in Malaysia.
She claimed that she had paid RM5k worth of groceries, and none of the workers offered to help her with her bags. In her rant, she pointed out how that is far from the culture she practices in her own store, where shed have no problems helping her customers with their bags. She went on to express that she felt entitled for such a service as she had spent thousands on the groceries.
Netizens who came across the video criticized the influencer for expecting the workers to cater to her needs alone when they're not obliged to as it is not part of their job description. They also pointed out that she shouldn't equate her professional services to other global chains like Lotus's and expect to be treated the same way.
