For Malaysia's Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, it will undoubtedly be a well-earned rest.
According to reports, he will retire this month after 35 years of public service.
Although the last few years have been among the most difficult in his stellar career, he will certainly be recognised as one of the individuals who tried tirelessly to protect the country from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr Noor Hisham said, "Retirement is the next chapter of life. It's a life journey. I will cross one bridge at a time."
Many Malaysians have honoured the nation's prominent medical chief in murals as a gesture of gratitude.
He stated that he is currently anticipating spending more time with his family after resigning from his position as Health Chief on April 21.
Dr. Noor Hisham, we want to thank you for everything!
