What is a normal amount of sex? And how do you know if you've exceeded?
If for some reason, these questions have once crossed your mind, you're not alone. Sex experiences generally vary between men and women and most of the time, the contrast between the opinions of both of these genders can be rather fascinating.
We've asked a few Malaysians, "How much sex is too much sex?" and have gotten very interesting answers. Let's take a look:
#Mr. T, 25, Lawyer:
"To each their own, but personally it's not a priority in my relationship. Between my job and other adult responsibilities, I'd be happy just hanging out with my girlfriend at the end of the day. Free time is already in itself a luxury for adults like us."
#Ms. R, 26, Civil Engineer:
"How can there be too much sex?"
# Mr. E, 36, Consultant:
"Well, at my age, I don't mind if it's a once-a-week thing, unless I'm on vacation with my wife. But generally, more than two rounds is too much for me."
#Ms. N, 22, Student:
"If it was up to me, I'd be having sex 6 times a day! But the downside of being in a long-distance relationship is that it's basically impossible. But to answer your question, I don't think there's such a thing as too much sex, no."
# Ms. S, 26, Educator:
"How can there be too much sex? Us girls generally have a hard time reaching orgasm during sex. Sometimes it takes more than just one session, maybe even more before we feel satisfied. So, for me, there's no such thing as too much sex."
# Ms. W, 23, Student:
"There's a limit to it?"
#Mr. H, 29, Social Media Manager:
"I've once gone four rounds at a time, and I was already exhausted. So generally I think 2-3 times a week is a normal amount."
What happens when you're having too much sex?
Repetitive penetration over a short period of time would naturally take a toll on your private parts. The constant friction could lead to irritation, swollen labia, and vaginal infections, among other complications.
Ultimately, listen to your body. If you start to experience soreness, pain, or any discomfort in general then perhaps you should tone it down.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to quality over quantity. As long as you're having orgasmic sex each time, the recurrence tends to only matter so little. Life's too short to have crappy sex, anyway!
