Someone on twitter has left a rather misogynistic comment in reply to a tweet mentioning multitalented actress Amelia Henderson, and boy did she retaliate in style.
A fan of hers tweeted the actress's remarkable achievement in being the member of the Mensa International, the largest and oldest high-IQ society in the world; scoring a certified IQ of 180. She expressed her new-found admiration towards the actress, citing her as her new "girl crush".
One individual decided to "add" into the conversation by replying to her tweet and saying, "...and she's a divorcee." .That tweet immediately attracted attention, with so many condemning the individual, including Amelia herself.
"If the biggest "problem" with me is that I was once married, I think I'm doing okay.", Amelia replied.
"Can we stop reducing women by their relationship status? I am an award winning actress, model, host, producer and dancer with 27 years of experience. Janda is the most disrespectful and uninteresting way of describing me," she continued.
It's 2023, let's stop diminishing the values of a woman based the absence of men in their lives.
