Investigations by "Harian Metro" on platforms like Telegram and X reveal a rise in young women entering the industry, producing short videos lasting less than 10 minutes for easy consumption.

Interviewed customer who only wanted to be known as Amin, shared insights, noting that women often market explicit videos on X, charging as low as RM35. This dual business involves functioning as freelance prostitutes while producing and selling self-acted adult videos.
This venture holds promise for substantial earnings, potentially reaching tens of thousands of ringgit per video, drawing in subscriptions from local viewers.
An independent investigation by Goody MY uncovered that these accounts frequently promote their content on X, implementing a subscription fee for access to their Telegram channel, with PayPal commonly used as the preferred transaction method.
