The case of online bank theft is not a new phenomenon in our country. Most recently, local actress Dynas Mokhtar, expressed shock after being believed to have fallen victim to online financial theft. Through a post uploaded on her Instagram, the actress was visibly upset upon discovering that almost all the savings in her personal bank account had disappeared.
The incident came to light a few days ago when she tried to pay her personal assistant's salary. According to Dynas, she did not answer any unknown calls, did not click on any links, and did not provide her bank card to anyone.
Surprised by what happened, Dynas immediately checked her financial statements from the bank and found several suspicious transactions, including currency from other countries such as Hong Kong Dollar.
Subsequently, a police report has been filed, and the case is currently under investigation. Despite her efforts to avoid falling victim to criminals, Dynas feels saddened because there are still hidden tactics employed by them to steal money. Dynas also hopes that her lost savings can be recovered after contacting the relevant bank authorities.
