A few weeks ago, the whole nation was outraged over the murder of S Thava Sagayam, a security guard who was brutally assaulted to death by Ahmad Noor Azhar Muhammad—a tragic incident that was caught on camera.
Today, September 9th 2021, the suspect has been charged with murder for causing fatal injuries to the victim between 8 AM and 9.30 AM at the 7th floor of Menara Majestic in Jalan CM Yusuff on December 29th, 2020.
Malay Mail reports that he was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, which carries the death sentence upon conviction. The suspect will not be given any bail as murder is a non-bailable offense.
