While the family was asleep, a four-year-old boy fell from the 16th story of the Sungai Buloh Hospital's quarters yesterday and sadly passed, according to authorities.
Chief Police of Sungai Buloh, Hafiz Nor stated that they were notified of the event at 4:28 p.m on Sunday, 24th March. The victim's parents, who are in their 30s, were involved in early inquiries that revealed the rest of the family was asleep at the time of the occurrence, he said.
"When the victim's mother woke up from her sleep, she found that her youngest son among four other kids, was on the edge of a living room window that was opened, but did not have time to get to the boy before he fell," said Hafiz Nor in a statement issued on Sunday.
Medical personnel at the site declared the young boy dead, and Mohd Hafiz claimed that the cause of death was still being looked into. "The accident has prompted the opening of a sudden death report investigation, and the victim's parents will be questioned and investigated furthered as well," stated the official.
