Norishah, a Malaysian woman, took to Facebook to express her frustration after Malaysia Airlines allegedly mishandled her luggage during a recent flight from Indonesia to Malaysia. According to Norishah, her neatly packed luggage ended up in disarray, with items worth approximately RM5,000 being damaged in the process.
In her Facebook post, Norliza outlined the timeline of events from their return journey, criticizing the airline staff for their lack of action.
Norliza's baggage before the damage
Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Norliza and her husband discovered that their luggage was in disarray, with several items missing or damaged. Despite seeking assistance from the airline staff, Norliza claimed that they were met with rude responses and unhelpful attitudes.
Norliza recounted how they found one of the damaged items discarded in a trash can and pleaded with the staff to locate the missing items. However, she claimed that the staff repeatedly delayed their efforts, leaving Norliza and her husband waiting until the early hours of the morning.
Ultimately, Norliza and her husband were left devastated by the damage to their belongings, particularly their daughter's archery equipment, which was essential for her training and competitions. Norliza emphasized that the emotional impact on her daughter was significant, as her favorite bow was among the damaged items.
Despite filing a report with Malaysia Airlines, Norliza stated that they had not received any response from the airline as of Monday afternoon. She concluded her post by tagging Malaysia Airlines and urging them to address the situation promptly.
As of the time of writing, there has been no announcement of a response from Malaysia Airlines yet.
