This cafe has been operating since 2014 and its business is doing well. The signs of Eiffel tower, as well as the hanging plants and potted flowers outside of the cafe, created a chilly ambiance, making it a good place to relax.

The interior design of the cafe features a mixture of industrial and grunge elements. Plan B serves Western and Asian fusion cuisines and coffees. Their foods are vegetarian-friendly and pork-free. They also serve liquor here.

It is very convenient for the tourists who hope to buy some souvenirs because there are many quaint shops nearby Plan B (Kong Heng Square) and Ipoh Concubine Lane is just opposite to it too!

3. Durbar Cafe at Federal Malay States (FMS)

Formerly, the FMS building was founded by Hainanese migrants in 1906. Patronized by Europeans and locals during the colonial days, the bar had its glory time but it could not continue its business due to high cost and decreasing patrons. But, Mr. Seow, a 40-year-old architect, with no experience in the food and beverage industry, decided to restore FMS with the owner, Mr. Lee. Seow had always wanted to give something back to his beloved hometown. Therefore, Durbar Cafe was opened, continuing the legacy of FMS Ipoh.

This cafe serves pork-free Hainanese and Western cuisines. The Oxtail Soup is 'must-try', together with the garlic bread.

Nyonya Fried Chicken here would definitely tease your taste buds because the creamy coconut milk with its spice covering the meat makes this dish one of the best choices. There is also Chinese food here like Fried Rice, Wat Tan Hor, and Chicken gravy fried rice (Mui Fan).

Opening Hours: Daily 11 am – 10 pm, (Closed on Wednesday)

Address: 2 Jalan Sultan Idris Shah, 30000 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia
