An incident in Jalan Pokok Assam Tambahan, Taiping, Perak, where a man was caught on camera knocking on a car's door using a motorcycle helmet, has drawn widespread attention on social media. Taiping District Police Chief, Razlam Ab Hamid, confirmed that they received a report about the incident from a local individual on Monday.
According to the statement by Razlam Ab Hamid, the incident is believed to have stemmed from a traffic dispute. Allegedly, the motorcycle rider abruptly knocked on the victim's car door using the motorcycle helmet while verbally scolding the victim, which resulted in damage to the car door.
As the incident gained traction online, a 42-second video capturing the incident has been widely circulating on social media platforms, capturing the public's interest and concern. In response, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter under Section 427 of the Penal Code.
