A young man's life came to a tragic end as he was discovered dead in a car in Subang Jaya. The victim, a 26-year-old unemployed individual, met a grim fate after reportedly being abducted by a group of his own friends in the Kampung Muhibbah People's Housing Project (PPR) area.
The unsettling incident unfolded in the early hours of a fateful morning at Batu 14, Puchong, Subang Jaya. At approximately 12:50 AM, the lifeless body of the victim was found inside a Proton Gen2 car, parked near the Petronas Gas Station in Batu 14, Puchong.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid shed light on the preliminary investigations, revealing that the victim had allegedly been abducted by a group of men believed to be his friends while he was in the PPR Kampung Muhibbah area the previous Sunday night.
The gravity of the situation prompted the victim's father to take action. He made a police report at the Bukit Jalil Police Station at 5 AM on Monday, upon learning about his son's abduction from his son's girlfriend.
Following the report, a specialized team of police officers from the Serious Crime Investigation Division (D9) at the Cheras District Police Headquarters (IPD) swiftly launched an operation. They succeeded in apprehending four suspects, all aged between 27 and 35, in the Klang Valley area. These individuals were suspected of being involved in the victim's abduction from PPR Muhibbah.
As the investigation deepened, a shocking discovery was made at Batu 14, Puchong, Subang Jaya, on the night of September 6th. A lifeless body was found, and subsequent investigations confirmed that it was the same man who had been reported abducted.
Preliminary investigations conducted by authorities have pointed towards revenge as the suspected motive behind this chilling incident. It is believed that the victim may have been targeted due to allegations of theft related to property belonging to the main suspect, who remains at large.
In the ongoing pursuit of justice, the police are intensively searching for two individuals, including the primary suspect, a foreign national in his 40s.
Urine tests conducted on all four suspects have revealed prior records associated with drug offenses, with the suspects testing positive for drugs during their detention.
Below is the official statement from the police regarding this case:
Presently, the Kuala Lumpur Police are conducting their investigation under Section 365 of the Penal Code, which deals with the offense of abduction. Simultaneously, the Selangor Contingent Police are conducting their inquiry under Section 302 of the same code, pertaining to the offense of murder.
An autopsy performed on the victim at Serdang Hospital has unveiled the harrowing extent of his injuries, which included a broken jaw, fractured ribs, and skull fractures.
