As the pandemic boomed in the US and the death toll rose in Spain and Italy, the total global Covid-19 cases has surpassed 1 million, and total number of deaths has passed 52,000 on April 2, as according to a Reuters tally of official data.
According to Worldometers, there are almost 250k cases in the US, placing it on the top of list of confirmed Covid-19 cases by country, followed by Italy, Spain and Germany. While China is 5th in the list, with 81k confirmed cases.
Italy had the most death cases, with over 13,900, followed by Spain.
On the bright side, there are over 200k recovered cases recorded by far, with China having the highest number of recovered cases, 76k.
While in our country, as of April 2, we have 3,116 confirmed cases, with 50 deaths cases and 767 recovered.
