A young couple in India met an instant divorce over instant noodles dispute, as the husband grew weary of only consuming Maggi noodles every day and nothing much else, as it was the only meal ever prepared by his wife.
Court judge ML Raghunath recalled the incident to New Indian Express, which he refers to as the "Maggi Case", "The husband said his wife did not know how to prepare any food other than Maggi noodles. It was noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He complained that his wife went to the provision store and brought only instant noodles."
The couple both agreed to a divorce, putting the matrimonial dispute to an end. What do you think of this bizarre case? Does a woman's lack of skills in the kitchen call for a divorce? Could it have been prevented?
