The residence of Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham, the Member of Parliament for Beruas, located in Beruas, Perak, was the target of a Molotov cocktail or petrol bomb early this morning, resulting in a destructive fire that consumed one of Koo Ham's cars.
Anthony Loke Siew Fook, the Secretary-General of the MP, strongly condemned the violent act, emphasizing that resorting to any form of aggression to resolve societal differences is unacceptable. He urged both the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to take this incident seriously, ensuring the preservation of public safety and tranquility.

According to Anthony, the attack occurred in the early hours of the morning when the MP's residence was struck by a Molotov cocktail, igniting a fire that extensively damaged one of his cars. Prompt action from the fire department prevented the flames from spreading to the house, averting further damage.
Police report has been made by the MP and is now awaiting investigation from the authorities.
