Recently, a Malaysian woman was driving near a construction site when a piece of metal suddenly fell from the sky and hit her windshield! She was so frightened that her mind went blank.
The woman posted on Xiaohongshu, saying that on her way home from work, when she was passing by Jalan Usahawan in Setapak, a piece of iron fell from the sky and hit the car mirror, causing serious damage and shattering all over the ground.
Although they reported the incident to the police, they said they could not confirm that the fallen iron piece belonged to the construction site, so they could only suggest that she file a claim through her insurance.
The police said we had no way to prove that the iron sheet fell from the construction site because we were not sure whether it was a construction material and it was not written that it belonged to the construction site.
They could only go to the car agent to claim insurance, and as for the construction site, they would need to go to the police station to get a copy of the report, and then go to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall to file a complaint.
The accident reminds citizens to be vigilant when driving near construction sites to avoid similar risks.
