In a shocking discovery at a home in Taman OUG, Kuala Lumpur, the body of an elderly woman in her 80s was found stored in a freezer, believed to have been hidden there since March 2021. The tragic case came to light around 9 a.m. when police uncovered the grim details, suspecting the woman's son, a man in his 50s, of her murder. Neighbors were left stunned by the revelation, with one local resident recalling the last time he had seen her before Malaysia's Movement Control Order (MCO).

"The last time I saw her was before the MCO," said a neighbor in his 30s, who spoke to Harian Metro. He explained that he hadn't seen the victim since early 2020 and assumed she had stopped visiting. "Since then, I thought she no longer lived with her son."

The neighbor, who chose to remain anonymous, mentioned that the victim had her own home and only occasionally visited her son, who lived alone. "She didn't stay with him full-time. She would just drop by to check on him because he was unmarried and living alone," he added.

The neighbor described his shock upon seeing a team of authorities at the house that morning. He hadn't suspected anything unusual about the suspect, who generally kept a low profile. "His house was always closed, and he rarely went out," the neighbor shared. "But he was friendly with the neighbors. Whenever we happened to meet outside, he'd greet us and ask how we were doing."

Although the neighbor had seen little of the suspect in recent years, he attributed this to the man's declining health, mentioning that he believed the suspect was recovering from a stroke. "He rarely went out, and I thought it might have been because of his health issues," he said.

According to this neighbor, there had been a previous incident where the suspect's house was almost broken into by a group, but they fled after being noticed by nearby residents. "After that, he didn't want to report it to the police because he said nothing was stolen," the neighbor noted.

The case has drawn significant public attention, as media reports indicate that the suspect may have been living with his mothers body for three years. Authorities are continuing their investigation to gather more details about the events leading up to this tragic discovery.
