A Malaysian enforcement officer was arrested today by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on suspicion of soliciting a bribe of approximately RM30,000 from a local company owner.
The incident unfolded at a café in Subang Jaya, Selangor, around 4 pm. The suspect, a man in his 40s, was taken into custody.

It is believed that the officer requested a significant sum of around RM30,000 from the company owner. In return, he allegedly promised not to expose an offense related to the use of fraudulent documents. This offense was connected to securing funding for the publication of a bulletin.
Sources revealed that the suspect initiated contact with the company owner in October of the previous year to request the substantial sum.
