Sarawak police have revealed a shocking motive behind the recent muder of a woman whose decomposed body was discovered in Tabuan Jaya last Sunday. 


According to authorities, the suspect, currently in custody, confessed to committing the crime due to financial desperation. 



Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mancha Ata revealed that the suspect needed money to attend the Malaysia-Cambodia ASEAN Cup match in Phnom Penh on December 8th.

The suspect admitted to stealing the victims gold jewellery, including a bracelet and earring, with the intention of pawning them to raise funds for the trip.
