A allegation of a professor who allegedly shared his naked photos with multiple students was confirmed by Universiti Malaya (UM).
"Several local media outlets reported on the case brought up by the UM Feminism Club, and UM has confirmed receiving a report on it,” reported NST Online.
Since the subject has been reported to the appropriate authorities for investigation, UM is now unable to speak further on this matter.
“UM will continue to monitor the progress of this case and is prepared to extend full cooperation to the relevant parties to ensure the issue is addressed appropriately," it stated.
According to reports yesterday, a professor allegedly sent his nude images to a student, prompting the UM Feminism Club to call on UM administration to strengthen its sexual harassment regulations.
According to UMFC, the images were also printed and put up on campus as a deterrent to other students, but they were quickly removed.
The group also asserted that a number of other academics made an effort to shield the accused professor.
