In a harrowing account shared on X formerly known as Twitter, a Malaysian detailed a distressing experience he endured while taking a long bus trip to Penang. His narrative sheds light on the dangerous conditions faced by the passengers due to what appears to be neglectful work practices within the bus company.
According to him, the bus driver exhibited signs of exhaustion and disorientation from the outset of the journey. His driving was erratic and shaky, prompting concern among passengers. The situation escalated when the driver, clearly fatigued, requested an impromptu stop at a Rest and Relaxation (RNR) area to take a nap.
Upon engaging in conversation with the driver, the man was stunned to learn that he had been operating the vehicle continuously for nearly 24 hours. He confessed to experiencing numbness in his feet and an inability to move his hands, indicating alarming early signs of a stroke. Moreover, he lamented the management's disregard for his well-being, attributing his prolonged hours to their indifference.

The man, disturbed by the severity of the situation, captured footage of the bus driver's reckless driving, showcasing the fear and unease palpable among passengers. The driver even told him to make it viral during their conversation so the bus company would finally face the repercussions and take accountabilities.

The man eventually arrived to his destination safely. However, he has decided to boycott the bus company, citing concerns for her safety and the welfare of drivers. Under her post, many have come forward with similar harrowing experiences booking a trip with the same bus company.
