Instagram is stepping up its game when it comes to direct messages (DMs). With a suite of new features, the platform is making conversations more dynamic, organized, and fun!
What's New in Instagram DMs?
1️. Message Pinning Never lose an important message again! You can now pin specific messages within a chat, making it easier to find crucial details, funny moments, or reminders.
2️. Message Translation Communicate seamlessly across languages! This feature helps break language barriers by translating messages directly in your DMs.
3️. Scheduled Messages Plan ahead and send messages at the perfect time, whether it's for work or a surprise greeting.
4️. Music in DMs Express yourself with music by sharing and playing songs directly within your chats!
How to Pin a Message on Instagram
Want to keep a message at the top of your chat? Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Press and hold the message you want to pin.
Step 2: Tap on More in the pop-up menu.
Step 3: Select Pin, and it will stay at the top for easy access!
If you ever want to unpin it, just press and hold the pinned message again and tap Unpin.
For now, these features are available on Instagram's mobile apps for iOS and Android, but there's no confirmation yet on a desktop rollout.
