For those who keep having to delete everything else on their phones just so they have enough storage for photos and videos, you don't have to deal with the hassle anymore! Apple has made it easier for you to manage your storage with their new tool that allows you to transfer everything from your iCloud straight into your Google Photos account.
Keep in mind before you make the transfer, here are things you need to check first:
• You're already using iCloud
• You have activated two-factor authentication with your Apple ID
• You have more than 30GB storage in your Google Photos account
Checked all the boxes? Well then you may continue. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Go to Apple's Privacy Website Login Page
Step 2: Click "Request to transfer a copy of your data" under the third option below "Transfer Your Data"
Then, choose Google Photos. Then pick what you want to transfer then click continue.
Step 3: Sign In To Your Google Photos Account
source: Google Photos
Allow access to Apple in order to proceed with the transfer.
Step 4: Lastly, click the "Transfer" button
That's it!
