Relaxing Natural Hot Springs In Malaysia That Will Soak Up All Your Stress

While it will be great to soak in a bathtub of warm water until all our stress goes away, some of us aren't lucky enough to have a bathtub in our homes. Thankfully for Malaysians, we don't need bathtubs because we have hot springs all around the country and most of them barely cost more than RM5 per entry and some of them are even FREE!


So, if you've had a stressful day at work, this weekend take a short trip to the nearest hot springs and soak away your stress. Here are some natural hot springs around Malaysia: 


#1 Jasin Hot Springs, Melaka

Jasin Hot Springs is not only a recreational park with playgrounds, they also have a females-only pool and a playground pool with colourful water! 

Address: Kolam Air Panas Jasin, Mukim Bemban, 77200 Jasin, Melaka

Opening Hours: 9am to 12am daily 

Price: RM6.50 per adult, RM5.50 per senior citizen, RM4.50 per child 


#2 Sungai Lalang Hot Spring Semenyih, Selangor

This spot has 2 pools with different temperatures, the bigger one has a more comfortable temperature and the smaller one is for those who like it a little hotter. 

Address: Jalan Sungai Lalang, 43500 Semenyih, Selangor

Opening Hours: 6am - 10am, 4:30pm - 10pm daily

Price: RM3 per person


#3 La Hot Spring, Terengganu

After a long soak in the hot springs, you will feel a little sweaty and hot, but no worries, you can just swim in the cool river below.

Opening Hours: All Hours

Price: Free Entrance


#4 Hulu Tamu Hot Springs, Selangor

The hot springs here are also divided into two pools with different temperatures, one hotter than the other. Maybe after soaking in the hotter one you can take a break in the cooler one. 

Address: Hulu Tamu, Kampung Kuantan, 44300 Batang Kali, Selangor

Opening Hours: Closes at 7PM

Price: RM3 per adult, RM1 per child


#5 Kolam Air Panas Selayang

With 4 different pools of different temperatures, locals believe that this natural hot spring has medicinal effects.

Price: Free Entrance


#6 Ayer Hangat Village Langkawi, Kedah

The next time you visit this beautiful island, don't forget to add this spot to your list. It is the only saltwater hot spring in the country and it has unique 3-tiered hot spring wells.

Opening Hours: 9am - 6pm daily

Price: From RM10 per adult, RM5 per child


#7 Poring Hot Spring, Sabah

Besides relaxing in the hot springs here, there's so much more Poring has to offer! They have a canopy walkway, and if you're lucky you can spot the world's largest flower here!

Opening Hours: 8am - 3pm daily

Price: RM3 per adult, RM1 per child
