Have you ever had someone say something so unbelievably shocking, that you had to take a moment to process it?
Well, these women certainly have. If you ask any woman if they've ever experienced unpleasant verbal attacks by men at any point in their lives, you'll bound to be shocked, as did we. We've asked a few Malaysian women about the nastiest things that a man has ever said to them, and here they are:
Azania, 27:
“Why can't you just be happy with the bare minimum?" is what my ex said to me when I asked him to text me more on the daily, as he had a habit of disappearing for days on end at a time.
Balqis Z., 21:
I found out through my friend that her ex said this about me once: "She's got way too many guy friends. She must be cheap."
Sonika, 22:
I was dating a gym freak once, and one day he casually said to me, "You should really come with me to the gym. Aren't you ashamed of standing next to me when you look like that?" I was dealing with weight gain at the time. Safe to say I dumped him.
A. Dalila, 25:
"I love you." What? I have commitment issues!
Stacey, 28:
"Thank you for giving me good f*ap materials on your Instagram." A guy sent me this DM on IG once. I didn't even know who he was. it was truly so disgusting. Blocked instantly!
Hasni Syahira, 29:
Back in uni, I was dating this guy and one day I was casually sending him a selfie before going to my 8 am, and I got this text after: "Can you not wear makeup to class? You're not allowed to look pretty when I'm not around." and no, he was not joking. He was actually really upset and I was like, "Am I dating a military commander?" Dumped him after. Overprotectiveness is so not attractive.
Sandra, 31:
A man called me a "man-eating wh*re" once for rejecting him and proceeded to write a really long Facebook post about how "awful" of a person I was and that other guys should really think twice about dating me. Some men really can't take rejection well, I almost felt sorry for him.
Nina, 23:
I met this guy on Bumble, and the first date was alright. He then expressed he wanted a second date, and that "Can you pick me up this time? And don't expect me to pay for the second date. Equality, right?" I couldn't believe my eyes, to be honest.
It does warrant some concern seeing how easy it is for women to get verbally harassed either online or IRL. Do you have similar stories? We'd love to know the details. Come share with us in the comment section!
