In a recent incident just occurred today, an AW139 helicopter owned by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) crashed approximately 5 nautical miles near Pulau Angsa, Selangor. The incident occurred around 10 AM, and fortunately, all four passengers, including the pilot, have been reported safe.
The helicopter was engaged in monitoring operations in the waters of Klang when the crash transpired. While the exact cause of the incident is yet to be determined, initial reports indicate that it occurred during the helicopter's surveillance activities.
