A small aircraft is believed to have crashed in Kg Tok Muda Kapar around 1:30 pm today, according to reports. The Chief Executive Officer of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), Captain Datuk Norazman Mahmud, confirmed the incident, stating that they are gathering information and will release an official statement later. Witnesses claim the victim is trapped in the ground, and the exact identity of the pilot or victim is yet to be determined, as well as how many victims could possibly be involved.
Viral videos on social media show the wreckage of the crashed aircraft in an orchard area. Witnesses in the circulated videos suggest the aircraft disintegrated in the air before crashing, but the authenticity of these statements remains unconfirmed.
Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, Assistant Director of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division, reported receiving a call about the incident at 1:56 pm. Upon arrival, they confirmed that the light aircraft, described as a type of 'Air Craft Aviation Safety Technology,' had crashed and caught fire.
