A wedding ceremony has been confirmed held at a temple in Seri Kembangan during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) yesterday.
The government has announced to ban all religious ceremonies or activities which involve mass gathering, but some people ignored the ban and held a wedding ceremony at a Hindu temple in Seri Kembangan, Selangor yesterday. However, the temple caretaker informed them that the temple had not held any activities or ceremonies during the CMCO period when police went for investigation.
According to The Star,
"However, when questioned, the temple's custodian said that particular wedding had not been held today and the temple had not held any activities nor ceremonies during the conditional movement control order (MCO) period," Serdang OCPD Assistant Commissioner Ismadi Borhan said.

A one-minute video is posted online, showing people gather at a temple for a wedding ceremony and it went viral as the public is worried about the spread of Covid-19 due to the mass gathering.
"The video was taken by the man when he was on his way to his workplace."
"He made the report as he was worried about his safety," he said in a statement today.
The police visited the temple at 7.45 am today.
"At first, the management denied that such a function took place at the temple on Monday, but they later admitted that a wedding ceremony was held from 8 am to 10 am with the presence of around 20 to 30 guests."
"Police will track down all suspects under 7(1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020," he said.
The police are tracking down all participants who attended the wedding.
People are advised to comply with CMCO standard operating procedures to break the chain of Covid-19 infection.
