In a shocking incident that occurred yesterday, the reptilian had somehow made its way aboard the flight's compartment, inciting panic among the passengers and crew. As a safety measure, the flight had to make an emergency landing in Kuching instead for the ground staff to conduct a thorough search.
Despite the drama, the AirAsia Group has assured the public that no involved parties were injured.
It's still unknown how and when the snake had snuck on board.
