Today, the KK Mart convenience store network's mobile application encountered a hacking incident, causing concern among users with the message "Final Warning." Despite the initial disruption, the application was swiftly restored to its regular functionality around 10 AM.
At 9:33 AM, Malaysiakini's investigation revealed users encountering the alarming message "Final Warning" in red against a black background upon attempting to access the KK Mart application.
Fortunately, subsequent attempts minutes later indicated the disappearance of the warning message, signaling a return to normalcy.
In a separate development, two individuals were incarcerated for making derogatory remarks about Islam. Both offenders, one in Kuala Lumpur and the other in Kota Kinabalu, issued public apologies via online videos following public backlash.
Meanwhile, local comedian Shuib, who serves as an ambassador for KK Mart, has expressed his intention to withdraw from his role amidst the ongoing controversy, as reported by News Strait Times.
