The third phase of the Movement Control Order (MCO) is expected to be ended on next Tuesday (April 28), however, as the government draws up standard operating procedures for Ramadan, Malaysians are urged to have the preparation that there might be a fourth phase of the MCO.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the decision of the extension of the MCO has yet to be confirmed but looking at the government's preparation for the Ramadan, the possibility of the fourth phase is estimated.
It has also been estimated that the duration for the fourth phase will be 2 weeks, as the previous three phases.
In response to Muslims ’concerns about the month of fasting during the MCO, it was expected that the Malaysian Prime Minister will deliver a speech pertaining to the matter tonight, according to the report.
