A video circulating on social media has captured a group of men involved in a violent clash at a restaurant in Pandan Indah, Ampang, Selangor.
The incident, believed to have occurred around 10 PM on Tuesday, reportedly involved two groups of men gathering at the establishment before the altercation took place.
According to the findings, the cause of the altercation can be attributed to discussions on social media platform TikTok concerning the merger of two motorcycle club groups, namely the Apache Sereng group and the Apache Santero group.
It has been revealed that the Apache Santero group declined the proposed merger with the Apache Sereng group and engaged in taunting exchanges on TikTok, which eventually escalated into a confrontation at the scene.
The less-than-a-minute video shows both groups engaged in aggressive and disruptive behavior, causing a disturbance to the public. Some of the men even used chairs made of iron as weapons during the scuffle.
Several other patrons not involved in the fight can be seen leaving the premises out of concern for their safety.
"They were said to be dissatisfied and held a meeting at the restaurant before the brawl erupted. So far, the police have arrested eight individuals, aged between 19 to 33 years old, who are suspected to be involved in the altercation," according to the police.
The police are currently intensifying their efforts to apprehend several other suspects who are still at large.
