Another MCO, another chance at giving this fitness lifestyle a go. Shall we?

1. Pamela Reif Workout Plans

Thank god for fitness youtubers! One in particular Pamela Reif, is a popular German fitness influencer who provides weekly workout plans ranging from beginner to sweaty, and did we mention it comes with no charges at all? A gem is what she is. All her workout plans are neatly kept in her Instagram highlights which you can screenshot and utilise at the comfort of your own home. All her workout videos are available on her youtube channel. Convenient!

If you're not particularly keen on doing regular workouts, fret not for Pamela also happens to be quite the expert on composing dance workouts that even the most couchiest of potatoes would enjoy. Here are some examples of her plans to get you started:

2. Yoga It Up

Yoga is a disciplinary physical and spiritual practice originated from ancient India that continues to prove its benefits to those who exercise it. Contrary to what a non-practiser might believe, yoga is actually essentially easy that one can begin to do at home! All you need is a yoga mat and a serene state of mind and you are ready to go. Here's one we picked out for you:

3. Indoor Cardio

To those of you who detest staying idle at home, cardio workout is the perfect exercise to match your energy. Cardio exercises typically burn fat the most (and the fastest) compared to other kinds, which makes it perfectly appropriate for those who have only a little time to squeeze in a mini active session while still burning heaps of calories. So much so that even a ten minute cardio is enough. Below are a few examples of a cardio circuit one can easily do at home.

4. HIIT

Although MCO has imposed restriction on outdoor activities, there are workouts which you can still do indoor. Take a look at this tiktok video, for example. Since running is out of the question, you can opt for a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout that typically requires less space as opposed to if you were to go out on a sprint. Thanks to the existence of TikTok, there are plenty of suggestions you can find. For instance, check this one out:

5. Tabata

Tabata essentially falls under the HIIT category, but it is more suitable for those who crave a more structured routine that allows very little breaks in between. If it sounds hardcore, that's because it is. If you have been making a mental note to lose some of the previous quarantine weight, Tabata might be the best workout routine for you. To make it less of a torture, we found a tabata workout that's worth the sweat.

6. Zumba

You might not be able to achieve the same high as attending an actual zumba class when it comes to doing it online, but beggars can't be choosers. During these unprecedented times, Youtube creators are the true saviors for providing us with good quality, free fitness content. Yes, even a free zumba class is available for your browsing. We found a 50 minute online zumba class that might tickle your interest but shorter ones are available too.

7. Stretching

We have not forgotten about you lazy potatoes. If all the aforementioned workouts sound a bit too much of a commitment for you, might we suggest a bit of stretching? If performed often, stretching will allow more flexibility in your muscles which in turn will decrease the stiffness in your muscles (from lack of moving) in the long run as well as a noticeable improvement in your posture. Plus, it can also decrease stress. Perfect for those who are currently working from home and because we understand you well, here is a stretching routine for beginner that's easy for you to follow.

8. Pilates

Invented in the 1920s, Pilates is a great workout for those who do not particularly enjoy moving too much during their routine. Similar to yoga, the exercise is very calming to the mind and might help you wind down after a long, stressful day. It promotes muscle flexibility as well as tension relief. Sounds inviting? Check out this video and maybe try one for yourself.

9. Tik Tok Dance By MadFit

Since the first quarantine, many have been flocking to Tik Tok, a video-sharing platform to pass their time. It is the birth place of many popular dance challenges like the Renegade, Savage Challenge, Say So and a lot more. Why not turn those trending dance videos into a workout routine? It's twice the fun, we assure you. Check out this video by Youtube fitness content creator MadFit in which she orchestrated Tik Tok inspired workout routine.

10. Lazy Girl (or Boy) Workout By Vicky Justiz

If even the stretching routine is too much for you lazy heads, perhaps this one might do the trick. This routine created by Vicky Justiz requires only 7 minutes of your day. Sounds manageable, is it not?

11. BLACKPINK Song Workout By Emi Wong

Kpop stans, this one's for you. This workout by Emi Wong is sure to make you sweat while also making you feel like a fifth member of BLACKPINK. It's the easiest and most probably the most sassy 3 minute workout you can do at home.

12. No Equipment Workout By Natacha Océane

One of the downsides of working out at home is the accidental noise pollution. Some might already own gym equipment at home but have yet to use them in fear of bothering the neighbors. Luckily, there are plenty of exercises that require no equipment and thus, no noise. Take this one by Natacha Océane for instance. This 20 minute exercise routine is completely noise-free and safe to be performed quietly anywhere.

13. Full Body Workout By Angela Kajo

Full body exercises is especially splendid for those wishing to see smaller numbers on their weighing scale. It targets the whole body instead of a specific muscle area. What's great about this routine by Angela Kajo is that there's no voice-overs so you can really focus on the routine itself without getting distracted.

14. Meditation Exercise

Many does not view meditation as an exercise, but it is crucial to add into your routine especially if you are dealing with anxiety. It may not seem as physically demanding as the other exercise we have listed, but it is a beneficial one for our mental health. You could meditate at any times of the day; in the beginning or even at the end, right before you sleep. This particular meditation exercise by Adrienne is targeted to those suffering from anxiety and if we're being honest, MCO has been quite the trigger. So, why not try this one and feel the improvement?
