Sin Chew Daily revealed that the Health Director-General, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah posted on his Facebook page last night stating that the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia has yet ended, thus he urged Malaysians not to be too relaxed due to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

He pointed out that there are many things humans are unaware of this new COVID-19 virus. In order to get rid of the fear of this virus, we may need to know more thoroughly about it first.

He quoted Marie Curie in his caption that: “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less” while stating that "to manage our fear we need to engage, explain & manage the expectations. We need to understand more on COVID-19 to allay our fear‬."

To manage our fear we need to engage, explain & manage the expectations. We need to understand more on COVID-19 to allay our fear‬.

Meanwhile, his previous post quoted a report by South China Morning Post, titled "University of Hong Kong study finds eyes are ‘important route’ for coronavirus, up to 100 times more infectious than Sars", which disclosed that eyes could be one of the ways of infecting COVID-19.

His caption goes:

"Every day we learn a new thing about this awful novel coronavirus. Face shields may soon be the new norm attire for all of us."
