A man in Surabaya, Indonesia has confessed to murdering his wife as he surrendered to the local police station hours after the crime.
According to the Bagor police chief Tommi Hermanto, the suspect was accusing his wife of having an affair with another man, as he'd often find comments from multiple men on his wife's TikTok videos. One day, out of anger, the suspect started hitting his wife's head with an iron rod multiple times, instantly killing her.
The suspect fled the scene almost immediately, before deciding to return and confess to his crimes. The victim son's claimed that the suspect had repeatedly reprimanded his mother for frequently uploading content on TikTok.
This is not the first time that cases like this had happened in Indonesia. Previously, a man from Jakarta murdered his wife for spending too much time on TikTok.
