The Ministry of Finance has announced that the price of RON97 will see a 10 cent increase, bringing it to RM3.47 per litre.
However, the prices of RON95 and diesel will remain unchanged, with RON95 retailing at RM2.05 per litre and diesel at RM2.15 per litre.

In an effort to shield consumers from the impacts of rising global oil prices, the government has decided to maintain the ceiling price of RON95 at RM2.05 per litre and diesel at RM2.15 per litre. This is despite the fact that the market price, as determined by the automatic pricing mechanism, has surpassed the current ceiling prices.
