The IKEA brand needs no introduction, but there are some underrated products that do need one. Aside from affordable quality furniture, IKEA has a range of smaller household items designed to make your house a home. Today, we're looking at the IKEA potpourri series.
A potpourri is a mixture of dried flowers and plants designed to provide fragrance to your room or house. IKEA has introduced 5 different potpourris - all named DOFTA - with different scents, from sweet red berries, to peach and orange, to even vanilla ice cream and waffles (you read that right)!
Not only are the dried flowers perfect for adding a gentle scent to your house, they also make a great decoration for any room. They come in plastic bags and the way you use them is all up to your imagination. Hang them in a bag with holes or place them in a shallow bowl, either way, the potpourris will blend in almost anywhere.
What's even better than good scent? Good scent at a great price. Each packet is sold at only RM 4.90! So, be sure to grab at least a pack for each scent to try them all out. Of course, IKEA would not be IKEA if they didn't also sell bowls and dishes to use them with. I, for one, love the HULTET, which is a handmade bamboo dish for the natural décor.
So, if you're already starting to get tired of your home after staying in for so long, why not give it a new breath (literally) by getting yourself some potpourri!
