Taylor Swift is reportedly taking legal steps against Kanye West after the rapper made disturbing and offensive remarks about her on social media. The pop star has allegedly issued a cease and desist letter in response to Wests recent outburst, which many have labeled as defamatory and deeply inappropriate.
In a now-viral post, West wrote, "Justin Bieber and Harry Styles f-d Taylor Swift from both sides and didn't call me. Oh I forgot. I cant hold water," sparking outrage from fans and the public alike. While neither Swift nor West has officially commented on the matter, sources close to the singer confirmed to Daily Mail that legal action has been initiated.
"This isn't just [West] gossiping. This is [West] sexually harassing a woman, defaming her and intending to cause harm to her and to her career," the source stated. The cease and desist letter reportedly demands that West immediately stop making any further defamatory remarks.
The controversy has also affected Swifts boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce. According to the source, Kelce is furious and wants to confront West but is holding back to avoid fueling the attention. "Taylor's clearly upset, and Travis is obviously supporting her. There must be consequences," the source added.
Meanwhile, representatives and sources close to both Harry Styles and Justin Bieber have denied the claims. Styles side called the statement "baseless and disrespectful," while Bieber's team labelled it as "100 percent untrue."
This isn't the first time West has publicly taken aim at Swift. In a previously deleted post, he claimed he was excluded from the Super Bowl because of "the Taylor Swift movement moment," further escalating tensions.
As fans await official responses, many are expressing support for Swift and calling out West for what they see as an ongoing pattern of harassment.
