It might not last long though!
Inflation is no joke and rumor has it that 2023 won't be a good year for a lot of people mentally. You can expect rising cost in all aspects of our daily life, food included.
However, Malaysian Indian Muslim Restaurant Owners Association (PRESMA) and Malaysian Indian Restaurant Owners Association (PRIMAS) have assured that they won't be increasing the food prices in their restaurant, at least for now.
"We will maintain the price as long as we can sustain and dont incur heavy losses.", said PRESMA's president, Jawahar Ali Taib Khan. They promised to do their best to preserve the present prices while also keeping a close check on their income. Abdul Mukthahir's viewpoint was shared by PRIMAS President J. Suresh, who also stated that there will be no increase in food costs anytime soon.
He claimed that they were making an effort to support the government's initiatives to keep the cost of living within reach.
Suresh told The Malaysian Insight, "We can assure our customers that no price increase will happen for now,"
