The Putrajaya police have taken a food delivery rider into custody on suspicion of engaging in indecent behavior within a residential zone designated for civil servants in Precinct 9, Putrajaya.
The suspect, a male individual, was apprehended by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Putrajaya District Police Headquarters following accusations related to an incident that reportedly took place in an elevator.
According to a statement released on the Putrajaya IPD's official Facebook page, the suspect, employed as a food delivery rider, stands accused of exposing his private parts to a young female child in the elevator. Further investigation reveals a similar incident was also detected in the residential area previously, with police reports filed by 5 victims.

Subsequently, the suspect has been remanded pending investigation. Authorities are probing the case under Section 15(a)(i) of the Sexual Offenses Against Children Act 2017.
