Oops- Malaysia is at the risk of losing its privilege to host international sporting events.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) disapproves of Malaysia's refusal to let Israeli squash players into the country. This happened recently when the World Team Squash Championship was about to be held in Kuala Lumpur.
It ended up getting cancelled due to the government rejecting the Israeli players' visas under political discrimination.
As of the moment, IOC has issued a warning & threatened to ban Malaysia from becoming the host of any global sporting events.
If the government wishes to host, they must provide written assurances to the head of sports federations that allow all eligible athletes and teams to compete and participate.
The authorities must follow through on these assurances. Well, let's see what will be Malaysia's next move!
