Who doesn’t love the classic treat ondeh-ondeh? Just the picture of the soft and sticky marble-sized balls coated with fresh shredded coconut itself can have anyone drooling! It’s only normal that we learn how to make it ourselves so we can have as many as we like, right? Let’s do it now.

What you need:
Glutinous rice flour - 220g
Topioca flour - 50g
Icing sugar - 40g
Pandan leaf extract - 200ml
Shredded coconut
Palm sugar (gula melaka)
Fine salt
Directions:
1. Combine glutinous rice flour, topioca flour and icing sugar. Slowly add in pandan leaf extract little by little and mix well. Add water if dough is too dry.
2. Crush the palm sugar. Flatten dough and wrap chunks of palm sugar in it.

3. Put the little balls of dough into a pot of boiling water. Once float, dish it out.
4. Steam the shredded coconuts for 5-10 mins, add some fine salt.
5. Dry the ondeh-ondeh then coat it with the coconut.
