Operated by a couple who are originally from Melaka, this new Nyonya spot located in SS2 serves up delicious and pocket-friendly Nyonya meals. Their specialities include Nyonya Kahwin, which lets you taste the combination of spiciness as well as sourness from both curry laksa and asam laksa all at once, and its 3 Layer Tea which comes in a vividly blue texture tea as it is made of butterfly pea flower, Gula Melaka and evaporated milk.

Growing up in Melaka, the owner and chef of the Village Restaurant said he always enjoyed the rich flavours of Nyonya dishes since he was young but he noticed how to prices of Nyonya food keep going up year after year. So, he and his wife decided to share their love of the delicious Nyonya flavours with reasonably priced dishes.

Mountain Village Restaurant also provides a variety of local delights for people interested in trying them out at a pocket-friendly price. Customers can enjoy meals with prices as low as RM 1.50 and drinks at only RM 1.30 here. 

There is a huge variety of hearty meals that a rich in flavours which you can choose from nasi lemak, Nyonya mee siam, Nyonya mee pedas, Penang kuey teow, claypot yee mee and many more. Besides that, you can also get their comforting soups that are perfect for a rainy day like the Fishball or Dumpling Soup.
