The body of a man was discovered still wearing a helmet and fully clothed in a forested area beneath the Jalan Rawang Bypass yesterday morning.
Acting Gombak District Police Chief, Superintendent Abang Kaderi Abang Wasli, confirmed that the police received a report about the body's discovery at approximately 9:30 a.m.
According to Harian Metro, initial investigations identified the deceased as a 48-year-old local man. The body was found lying on the ground, fully dressed, and wearing a helmet.
"Police also recovered personal belongings belonging to the man, including a wallet containing identification cards and a wristwatch," said Superintendent Abang Kaderi in a statement.
The body has been sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for an autopsy, which is scheduled to take place today.
The case has been classified as a sudden death. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
